The Chamber is a business membership organization with over 400 members from the Greater New Britain business community. The focus of the Chamber is simply business; helping to strengthen and retain businesses currently in the community and to attract new and dynamic businesses; making assets and resources available to restore the city's commercial base; marketing the features and benefits; and promoting the image of a community ripe for reinvestment. We are working to build a strong Chamber of Commerce; a strong business community and a strong city. In addition to a wide range of Chamber membership benefits we also offer a variety of great events for you and your employees such as networking events, a well-attended Chamber Annual Meeting, and a popular summer Golf Outing. In 1995, the Chamber joined forces with the Municipal Economic Development Agency and the New Britain Downtown District in order to better coordinate economic development and to cultivate a pro-business environment within the community.
