Sportsmen's Licenses
A variety of licenses and permits are available throughout the year at the Town Clerk's Office. Fishing and Combination Licenses may also be purchased during peak seasons from the New Britain Bait Shop at 228 Farmington Avenue.

**Handicapped License - CGS Sec. 26-29b - provides a free hunting and/or fishing license to individuals who have permanently lost the use of a limb. These licenses are available at town clerk offices. Non-residents are eligible for this free license if their state provides the same privilege to Connecticut residents. Verification of the disability, signed by a licensed physician, must be presented.
* Issuance of a free license to the blind or mentally retarded requires proof of disability in the form of a certificate provided by any person licensed to practice medicine in this state.
